Y-Bayani & Baby Naa & The Band of Enlightenment, Reason and Love - Ghana Plattenboss und Produzent Max Weissenfeldt entdeckte diese Naturtalente während seiner Reise nach Ghana. Über Jimmy Taylor, den Sohn von Ebo Taylor, der 2010 auf dem Africa Festival auftrat, lernte er Y-Bayani kennen, mit dem sie gemeinsam "Asembi Ara Amba" veröffentlichten. Es wurde ein Hit aus dem Album Invisible Joy.
Später schlossen sich die Kirchensängerin Baby Naa und die Begleitband The Band of Enlightenment, Reason and Love der Gruppe an. Wir freuen uns, dass diese siebenköpfige Reggae-Gruppe am Sonntag spielt

Am Sonntag, den 7. Juli um 14.10 Uhr treten Y-Bayani & Baby Naa und The Band of Enlightenment, Reason & Love, eine Reggae-Sensation aus Ghana mit dem wahrscheinlich längsten Bandnamen, den wir je auf dem Festival hatten, auf unsere Bühne. Die Gruppe veröffentlichte ihr Debütalbum "Nsie Nsie" (Label Philophon) im Jahr 2020, zu einer Zeit, als sich die Corona-Pandemie rasant ausbreitete. Nach einer jahrelangen Auszeit, die durch die Corona-Pandemie verursacht wurde, sind sie nun bereit für ihre erste Tournee durch Europa. Und dann kommen sie natürlich auch zum Africa Festival Hertme!
